While servicing the needs of label yarns from conventional yarn production facilities that were set-up to service the general textile industry, we soon realised that the results were at best a compromise. Yarns required for weaving labels need attributes that could not be obtained unless specific technology solutions were deployed. In addition, service demanded by label-weaving industry required new benchmarks in ability to supply small orders with a very short turn around time.

In 1997, we identified the opportunity in this niche and decided to invest in a new manufacturing facility that was dedicated to the needs of the label-weaving industry.

The entire project from drawing board up was designed to make yarns optimized for label weaving and the world's best technology was harvested to achive:
