Global Pacific receives Oeko-Tex Standard 100 CLASS1 |

Global Pacific has been granted authorization according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and to use the Oeko-Tex mark, based on the test report HKYO 045154 for the following articles:
Polyester Yarns - Raw White and Dyed
This covers our entire yarn range for label weaving.
The results of the inspection made according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class 1 for baby articles, have shown that the above mentioned goods meet the human-ecological requirements of the standard presently established. The certified articles fulfil the requirements of the existing European legislation regarding the use of azo-dyes.

Ground Realities - New Exciting 'Ground Weft' Collection launched |

In order to provide a comprehensive solution for the varying needs of label weavers, Global Pacific has released an exciting new collection of "Black and White Ground Weft" shades. This collection comprises of five different shades of Black and White that have been carefully selected to cover the widest spectrum of ground shades used internationally for label weaving.
All the yarns in this range are guaranteed not to bleed and withstand the heat treatment subjected during label weaving. In addition, these yarns ensure dimensional accuracy and softer handle in the woven product.
Given that more than half of the weft used in label-weaving is in ground colours, this selection not only provides a wider choice for colour selection, but also helps reduce costs.

Dazzlers - New range of Xtra Bright fashion shades launched |

This exciting new collection draws inspiration from traditional silk shades. The lustrous flat polyester yarn used in this collection is set to dazzle with its shimmer and soft handle, providing label designers a great opportunity to create "new-look" labels.
This new range uses GPX as a prefix and has 84 shades in the family.
